Marina di Ragusa is a seaside resort a few kilometers south of Ragusa of 2,500 inhabitants, in the summer it reaches about 60,000. Its ancient name was Mazzarelli in 1928, by the will of the fascist hierarch of the time took its current name. In the sixties, from a fishing village, it became a real tourist resort and the economy of this small center was mainly based on tourism and agriculture (greenhouse cultivation).
